Fill Your Freezer with Real Beef — Raised Right from Birth to Butcher
Our next round of premium pasture-raised beef is heading to the butcher June 1st 2026, and we’re opening up just a few spots for half or whole beef shares.
This is the cleanest, most honest beef you can put on your family’s table — 100% grass-fed and finished, raised on our chemical-free pastures with no grain, no antibiotics, no vaxx, and no funny business.
You’ll get completely customizable cuts, so you’re not stuck with someone else’s idea of what your freezer should look like. Roasts, steaks, ground, stew meat, bones, fat — you choose what works for your family.
We raise purebred Dexter cattle, which are an Irish heritage breed known for their rich flavor, smaller frame, and excellent fat-to-meat ratio.
Your $500 (half) or $1000 (whole) deposit reserves your share.

FAQ – Bulk Beef Shares
Q: How much beef will I actually take home?
On average, you’ll take home 65–70% of the hanging weight in packaged, freezer-ready meat.
But take-home weight isn’t set in stone — it depends on a few key factors:
* Your cut preferences — More boneless cuts = lower weight. Choosing bone-in roasts or keeping soup bones, organs, and fat increases your total.
* Trim level — Leaner grind, smaller steaks, or heavily trimmed cuts reduce weight. Thicker cuts or more fat left on = more pounds.
* What you opt to include — If you choose to keep extras like soup bones, organ meats, suet, or stew meat, your take-home total will be higher. If you skip those, you’ll end up with less.
We’ll guide you through the cut sheet so you can choose exactly what your household will use — no waste, no mystery meat, just clean, custom beef that fits your freezer and your life.
Q: How much freezer space will I need?
Rough estimates:
* Half beef: 4–6 cubic feet
* Whole beef: 8–12 cubic feet
A standard upright or chest freezer will do the trick. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you estimate what you need.
Q: Can I choose how my beef is cut?
Yes! Every beef share includes completely custom butchering. Want all ground beef? Prefer more roasts and fewer steaks? No problem. After we receive your deposit, we’ll email you a cut sheet packet that explains all your options in plain language. We’re happy to walk you through it and help you decide what works best for your household.
Q: What’s included in the $9.00/lb hanging weight price?
Everything.
* Butcher fees
* Custom cutting and vacuum sealing
* Organized boxing
* Deep freezing
* Flexible home delivery
There are no hidden fees or extra processing costs. Your deposit locks in your spot and is applied to your total due after butcher.
Q: What’s hanging weight?
Hanging weight is the weight of the beef after slaughter, once the head, hide, and internal organs have been removed — but before the carcass is broken down into individual cuts. It’s the standard way beef shares are priced.
Depending on how many animals go in on butcher day, you may have the option to choose your preferred hanging weight from the group. We’ll let you know what’s available once the weights are in.
Q: When and how do I pay the rest?
After your beef is butchered and we get your final hanging weight, we’ll calculate your total. We’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance, minus your deposit. You’ll pay before delivery.
Q: How does delivery work?
We offer free home delivery in the Treasure Valley. Once your beef is boxed, frozen, and ready for your freezer, we’ll contact you to arrange a delivery time that works for you.
Q: Is the deposit refundable?
No — deposits are non-refundable because we’re reserving your beef and covering upfront processing costs. Please be sure you’re ready to commit before ordering.
Q: Can I split a share with someone else?
Absolutely — many families do! Just note that we only deliver to one location per order, so you’ll need to handle the split on your end.
